As a Commissioning Manager you will be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As their Commissioning Manager you will manage and coordinate on-site activities related to Commissioning, Performance Testing, Network Code Compliance.

The Commissioning Manager will be our Client’s main point of contact on site and responsible for interaction with commissioning contractors, as well as supporting the technical project manager in interactions with ONS, utilities and all stakeholders needed to ensure that the PV plant is commissioned, energised and grid code compliant successfully.

 

You will

  • Main Responsibilities: 
    • Overall responsibility for developing, improving, and ensuring compliance with project document management procedures and deliverables for our Client
    • Implementation of the commissioning master plan on site
    • Coordination of all stakeholders on the ground according to the plan
    • Management of the supplier’s key personnel on-site to ensure that the activities carried out in the subsystems are completed sequentially and safely; as well as on time and in accordance with the contractual agreement
    • Tracking and reporting on commissioning activities against the planned schedule and updating the commissioning master plan with the help of PTM
    • Tracking, coring, and collection of key documentation in coordination with other departments – Calibration certificates Supplier commissioning reports and QA/QC reports
    • SATs/Punching lists
    • Conducting defect rectification together with the site team
    • Work with local staff to perform safe energising/switching procedures
    • Support to PM/PTM, engineering team and O&M for post-commissioning activities

You have

  • Qualification and Training in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Specialisation in solar and/or renewable energy is desirable
  • Experience over 10 years in managing large-scale construction projects with knowledge of: License and permit management; Solid experience in commissioning for different suppliers and contractors, managing a team, time, quality, risk
  • 2+ years working with EPC projects
  • Organizational capacity
  • Proactivity and Hands-on approach
  • Excellent level of communication and interpersonal relationships
  • Fluency in English both oral and written (B2-C1)
